UPDATE (1/20/16): Kavaguti/Smirnov are out of the rest of the season with a ruptured tendon (Kavaguti) after a bad fall in practice.

Following the conclusion of the 2015-16 Russian Figure Skating Championships, the skating federation of Russia has named the following skaters to represent Russia at the 2016 European Figure Skating Championships.

MEN: Mikhail Kolyada, Maxim Kovtun, Alexander Petrov
LADIES: Evgenia Medvedeva, Anna Pogorilaya, Elena Radionova
PAIRS: Yuko Kavaguti/Alexander Smirnov (WD), Ksenia Stolbova/Fedor Klimov, Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov
DANCE: Ekaterina Bobrova/Dmitri Soloviev, Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov, Alexandra Stepanova/Ivan Bukin

The team comprises all of the medalists from Nationals in all discipline except for pairs, where the injured Ksenia Stolbova/Fedor Klimov, who withdrew from Nationals, was named over bronze medalists Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov. The Worlds team is usually not announced by Russia until at least February.
