They have had polarizing music choices in the past, but Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov with classic Rachmaninoff for their short program was … well, classic. Everything about this program worked for them, their style, their huge quality tricks.
And perhaps nowhere did they skate more passionately or with greater projection to the audience than at the Olympics in their individual short program. Seeing this live was absolutely amazing - they put everything they had into this performance.
